Last week, we had the pleasure of launching an exciting new initiative: Brass in the Class! This programme, funded by the generous support of Thurles Lions Club, will give next year’s 4th class pupils the unique opportunity to explore the world of brass instruments and discover the joy of making music together.
We were thrilled to welcome two exceptional music maestros, Liam Daly and Mark Fitzgerald, who shared their talents and passion for music with the students. We also had the pleasure of meeting Sinead Ni Riain and Louis Curley from Thurles Lions Club, whose support made this initiative possible.
The boys and girls loved listening to the rich sounds of the brass instruments and were even more excited to try them out for themselves. The atmosphere was buzzing with enthusiasm, and we can’t wait to see where this musical journey will take them!
