Our 1st and 2nd class pupils enjoyed a fantastic school tour to the historic city of Kilkenny. The day began with a fascinating guided tour of the stunning Kilkenny Castle, a majestic 12th-century Anglo-Norman castle full of rich history and beautiful rooms. The children were curious and engaged as they learned all about life in the castle long ago.
After the tour, everyone enjoyed some well-deserved playtime in the nearby playground, where laughter and energy filled the air. The fun didn’t stop there – the day ended on a high with tasty food and a few exciting games of bowling at KBowl.
It was a brilliant day of learning, adventure, and fun with friends – a school tour to remember!
