One of the highlights of our year to date has been our return to the stage for the Christmas Concerts. It was a much anticipated event and we hope you enjoyed our shows. A huge well done to all the boys and girls who showcased their talents and abilities on stage. We would also like to take the opportunity to thank all of the teachers and SNA’s for preparing the children for their performances. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the children, a great night was had by all.

Our School Show

Hi my name is Candise and this is my report about our school show, Pirates versus Mermaids. I was a mermaid in the show. We were sassy and flashy and one of a kind .

We helped the pirates learn how to swim. The pirates returned to Me Hearty High School and graduated. The pirates and mermaids learned how to live and rule the sea together

Our School Show

This year we did a play with fourth class called Pirates versus Mermaids. I wanted to be a mermaid and luckily I got the role of a mermaid called Atlantis.

In our play there were five songs, the first one was called ‘Me Hearty High’ and then we sang ‘We Don’t Like Mermaids’. ‘Avast Ahoy’ was next and then we sang my favourite song ‘Out of Your League’ and then last but not least ‘Life at Sea’.

The show was about a pirate crew who were training at Me Hearty High School to become proper scary pirates. They find out that their captain in training called ‘Captain Scarypants’ can’t swim so they go to the mermaids for swimming lessons without being invited. The mermaids were not happy about this at first but eventually they give the pirates swimming lessons. After this they become such good swimmers and graduate pirate school. In the end they all agree to rule the Seven Seas together.
