It was an incredible week for girls’ football at Presentation Primary School, as both our U11 and U13 teams were crowned winners in their respective blitzes!
Our U11 team produced a flawless display of skill, teamwork and determination – winning all four of their games without conceding a single score! They overcame tough opposition from Scoil Angela, St. Mary’s Nenagh and two Clonmel schools, showing great defensive discipline and attacking flair throughout.
Not to be outdone, our U13 team also claimed victory in their blitz, winning all four of their games. Their final match proved to be a thrilling encounter against Knockavilla, where our girls battled bravely to earn a 3–1 to 1–1 win. It was a superb team effort, full of heart and commitment from start to finish.
Both teams now progress to the County Semi-Final stage, an outstanding achievement and a reflection of the talent, teamwork and spirit in our school.
A huge well done to all our players for their hard work and sportsmanship, and sincere thanks to the coaches and teachers who have prepared them so well. We are very proud of our girls – what fantastic role models for our younger students!
