After an absence of 4 years, it was uplifting to welcome back all the great Nanas and Grandads to our school for Grandparents Day 2024. This magical day is part of Catholic Schools Week and we thank Louise Healy and Lorna Lilis for helping to organise the day.
The hall was packed to capacity and there was a buzz in the air as the children filed into the hall for our celebration.
A wonderful day was had by all as Grandparents from near and far gathered in our school hall. The morning started with a short prayer service, some poetry, some reflections and some very cute moments with our infant pupils. Our school choir ended the gathering with an angelic version of The World in Union.
We thank the Parents Association for their support in providing tea and cakes to all the grandparents.
