Junior NBA is an iniatitive run by Basketball Ireland and part-funded by the NBA. Thanks to Tipperary Knights, our school sent 15 girls to the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght to take part in a day of skills training and matches against schools from all over Ireland.
A sincere thanks to Ms. Nyhan and Ms. Bohan for taking such care of the girls throughout the day. Thanks also to Martin Hehir for his continuous support. The girls had a wonderful day and represented our school with pride.
One of the highlights of the day was meeting Pat Burke, the only Irish man to play in the NBA!
