Our Well-Being Warriors (aka The Amber Flag Committee), along with their teachers Ms. Bourke and Ms. Walsh organised a fantastic week of promoting positive mental health and well-being.

Here in the Presentation Primary School we understand the importance of maintaining positive well-being and we endeavour to instill positive attitudes and to teach the children about well-being. We understand the important role well-being plays in creating a positive, happy and healthy environment where children can reach their full potential.

We kicked off Rainbow Week with Mindful Monday where the children enjoyed some mindful breathing and meditation. Thankful Tuesday was all about being grateful and we created our beautiful Gratitude Tree which is displayed in our lobby. Well-being Wednesday comprised of getting outside and enjoying our beautiful school gardens and surroundings. Thoughtful Thursday gave us the opportunity to thank members of our community for the role they play in our lives. We enjoyed Rainbow Day on Friday where everyone dressed up in their brightest and boldest colours and sang “True Colours” together on yard. We also enjoyed yoga with Nora Shanahan in the school hall.

My favourite part of Rainbow Week was…
