The girls from second class enjoyed a Basketball Blitz as part of Active Week.
Ms. Gleeson organised the girls into four very competitive teams. There were some wonderful skills on display and the girls really had great fun. We hope that this experience will encourage some of the girls to join their local basketball club.
In the end it was the red team who came out on top, winning the final on a scoreline of 10 to 6.
Well done to everyone for taking part and for showing great sportsmanship.
