This week our U13 football team played in the Cumann na mBunscol Blitz in Dúrlas Óg.
On a beautiful autumnal morning, the girls played Scoil Angela Thurles and St. Mary’s GNS Nenagh.
It was wonderful to see the girls finally take to the field after weeks of training with their coaches.
After two games the girls had recorded one win and one loss. Unfortunately this was not enough to progress to the next round of the competition, but the girls can be immensely proud of their efforts.
Next up is a blitz on Friday, 20th October for our U11 team. We hope that they too have a wonderful day of football and we wish them good luck!
