Thank you for reading this post – we think you are awesome!

This week we celebrated Wellbeing Week. The children enjoyed lots of mindful activities and worked together for lots of art, music, drama and meditation.

Our Wellbeing Warriors

The week began with a whole school assembly and our Wellbeing Committee performed a short drama called ‘The Wrinkled Heart’. This story encourages the children to be kind and to be a good friend.

On Tuesday the children carried out random acts of kindness and spread seeds of kindness around the school. We also unveiled our “Calm Corner” which is a beautiful new space where pupils can go to enjoy some quiet time.

On Wednesday the children enjoyed practicing yoga with Nora Shanahan in the school hall.

The senior classes teamed up with the junior classes to learn some playground games such as Snatch the bacon, Giant Steps and baby steps, Duck duck goose, Simon Says and What time is it Mr. Wolf? This was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
