The girls in Second Class have been learning all about Weight this week in Maths. They have been estimating and measuring how heavy items are using grams and kilograms. They have used both the scales and the balance. Well done girls!

The recent snow provided a welcome distraction from the classroom as the children got the chance to throw some snowballs and enjoy the novelty of a white playground.
Well done to these third class girls who were awarded their Pen Licences recently. This means that they are now qualified to use a pen when writing. The whole school is now using cursive writing and these girls are setting the standard with their beautiful handwriting.
