Switch Off and Play Week was a truly enjoyable wee Switch Off and Play Week was a truly enjoyable week for all our boys and girls. This week we went screen free to focus on the games and fun we can have away from devices and screens.

This is part of our No Smartphones Code and we express our thanks to our super Student Council, together with Ms. Laura Ralph and Ms. Yvonne Dunne for organising the week.

We already have over 100 families who have signed up to the code and we now too have some wonderful slogans which we will use to continue to share our message that smartphones are simply not needed by children in primary school. Let's live life in 3D, not HD!

Thanks to the TY students from @presentationsecondarythurles
who helped with badminton, our buddy walk, bracelet making, board games, Easter Egg hunts and so much more!

For parents who wish to join the code, follow the link provided on Aladdin.
