Maths Week 2022

Last week we celebrated Maths Week. The children enjoyed a different Maths challenge each day. I must say a huge thank you to our wonderful team here in the Presentation who worked so hard all week to bring Maths to life in a fun and interactive way. Pupils also enjoyed Maths Trails, Bingo and a Maths Quiz. We hope the week helped the boys and girls to see Maths in a fun and real way. Perhaps at home you can ask your child to use their Maths Eyes to see numbers, shapes, times and measure all around your home. Here Read more

Star Pupils

This month we focused on Kindness and Manners for our Star Pupil Awards. We value kindness and manners more than anything in the Pres and we were very impressed with the efforts of our boys and girls as they followed our school motto of Kind Hands, Kind Words, Kind Feet. Here are this month’s winners.

Alternative Homework

Alternative Homework on a Thursday night provides the children will many opportunities to shine and showcase the many talents they have. We hope that families enjoy these experiences too. Alternative Homework should never be stressful but it is clear from these images that many children really love being able to express themselves through projects and art.

It was wonderful to see the girls finally take to the field after weeks of training with their coaches Paula Ralph, Karen Bohan, Laura Ralph and Ciara Fanning. After three games the girls had recorded one win, one draw and one loss. Unfortunately this was not enough to progress to the next round of the competition, but the girls can be immensely proud of their efforts. One Read more
