Presentation Primary School

Today we enjoyed a joyful Christmas Sing Song in our school. Each class performed a little Christmas party piece. Enjoy watching these talented children sing, dance and play music to really get you into the festive spirit!

The whole school community gathered in the hall today to listen to the Christmas Story. The story was acted out by the children from Ms. Fannings Class. Well done to all our readers, singers and actors who worked together to tell the story of the first Christmas.

This week was very special for us in the Presentation Primary School as we raised our Amber Flag. The Pieta Amber Flag initiative recognises our efforts to create a healthy and inclusive environment that supports mental well-being. We understand the important role well-being plays in creating a positive, happy and healthy environment where children can reach their full potential. This award would not have been possible without Read more

Presentation Primary School won their first ever County Football title this week, battling to a hard earned win over a fine Cloughjordan side in Littleton. For the third game in a row, the Pres girls found themselves a goal behind in the opening minute. A hopeful ball was launched towards goals by Read more

There was an amazing response to the TeamHope Christmas Shoebox Appeal again this year with 138 boxes being donated to support this wonderful cause. We hope that these gifts bring a smile to the faces of some children on Christmas morning. Thanks to all the parents who donated and supported TeamHope this year.

Two goals down with two minutes to go is not where you want to find yourself in a county semi final! And moments later, as a close range free narrowly flew wide of the post, few would have believed that Presentation Primary would eventually grind out a famous win against a fine Holycross team! The game began in treacherous conditions. Driving rain and single figure temperatures made the ground slippy and the ball even slippier! Holycross got off to a flying start and found the net twice in the opening minutes to really set out their stall and put early Read more

Something peculiar happened this morning in the Presentation Primary School when hundreds of monsters turned up for school instead of our usual staff and children. Skeletons, zombies, witches, Batman, Spiderman and even Michael D. Higgins roamed the corridors, classrooms and playground of our school. It was a fun filled day from start to finish with spider racing in the morning and mummy wrapping in the afternoon. The children in 5th and 6th class held a Halloween Fun Fair which included spooky treasure, fortune telling, pin the face on the pumpkin and much more. If the laughter from the Halla was Read more
